About the role

Reporting into the Maintenance Manager, we are looking for an experienced Administrator to provide essential administrative support to the Maintenance team, ensuring the smooth flow of operations. Your responsibilities will include managing maintenance documentation, assisting with purchasing, and supporting the team with rostering and scheduling tasks.

Roster: 5/2, 4/3 (6:30am-6:30pm

Location: Peak Mine - Cobar NSW

Travel Options: Residents only


Key responsibilities

  • Prioritise safety, follow safe work practices, and complete required training.
  • Maintain and file maintenance documents (e.g. work orders, pre-starts, Take 5s).
  • Raise POs, processing remaps, and handling month-end accruals.
  • Provide admin support to the Maintenance Manager and Superintendents.
  • Keep FIFO/DIDO rosters updated and submit to HR for camp and flight bookings.
  • Manage department clothing orders.
  • Send out oil samples.
  • Book meetings and take minutes as needed.
  • Assist planners in closing out work orders, PM tasks, and service sheets.
  • Complete other tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications and experience

Essential

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in administration.
  • High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Organised, proactive, and a strong team player.
  • Able to prioritise tasks and work independently.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence.

Desirable

  • Cert III in Business Administration.
  • Administration experience in Mining/Maintenance setting.
  • Previous experience using Pronto.
