This position is crucial for ensuring team safety, providing exceptional service delivery that exceeds customer expectations, maintaining full compliance with regulatory requirements, and achieving commercial objectives.

The primary responsibility of this role is to lead and manage the delivery of EVCI projects, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget. This involves collaborating with a team of professionals and paraprofessionals to achieve project goals and support team success. You will foster positive client relationships, driving successful project delivery through open collaboration and communication and prepare and execute detailed project plans, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

You will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on project progress, proactively identifying and addressing any potential risks or issues, as well as contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, helping the team to evolve and deliver the best possible outcomes in a rapidly changing industry.

Spark our interest!

Our hiring decisions are not only based on your experience and skills, but your passion, attitude, and alignment to our core values.

The successful candidate will be degree qualified or hold an Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or possess equivalent extensive experience. Proven expertise in Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure (EVCI) is essential for this role, along with substantial experience in electrical distribution grid connections or other skills aligned with Distribution or Transmission Networks.

Demonstrated experience in working with low voltage (LV) systems and a solid understanding of key standards and regulations, including AS3000, Service and Installation Rules, and Electrical Safety Rules is key. Strong project management skills are also crucial, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring successful outcomes.

Experience with GIS systems (such as Smallworld/Scout, Web GIS, etc.) and familiarity with field asset recording and asset management are not mandatory but would be considered highly desirable for this position. This combination of technical knowledge and project management capabilities will be key to delivering high-quality results in this dynamic and rapidly evolving field.

You will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to articulate ideas and information clearly and effectively. Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills are essential, allowing you to collaborate and build positive relationships with colleagues, clients and stakeholders. You will have demonstrated experience working within a team environment, consistently contributing to the successful delivery of projects and work outcomes within the set timeframes and budgets.
