Retail Customer Service Officer
Role Details
- These casual roles (2 positions available) commence on $33.66 / hour for approx. 3 months, increasing to $35.98/ hour + 12% Superannuation. (Junior rates apply to those under 21 during training).
- Extensive, supportive (paid) training on commencement, Monday - Friday, for up to12 weeks, approx. 4 hours / day on a rotating roster
- As a relief position, shifts will be rostered at Nambour, Sunshine Plaza, Noosa Civic, Noosa heads, Tewantin and Sunshine Coast Business Hub, you must be willing and able to work at all locations.
- Becomes “on call” after training, shifts may be scheduled in advanced, or you may be called in at short notice
- You will need to be fully available, Monday - Friday, between 8.45 am - 5.06 pm, no minimum hours guaranteed

You'll be:
- Performing customer sales and service transactions with customers
- Managing high value transactions accurately (handling and processing cash, cheques, credit cards and EFTPOS)
- Conducting and processing a number of identity services transactions, including Australian Passport Interviews
- Promoting our products and services through up-selling and cross-selling, merchandising and other promotional activities
- Assisting customers with mail lodgements and associate costs
- Building rewarding relationships with customers by understanding their needs
- Assisting with administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance
- Have experience in customer service and/or cash handling
- Be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift
