About the opportunity
We’re seeking a dynamic Senior Change Communication Manager to become a key member of the Post26 PIVOT ePMO and Transformation team. Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Change this role will be responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of people-centred change communication strategies and plans for Australia Post’s (AP) PIVOT change narrative, enhancing employee engagement and supporting the successful adoption of Post26 driven changes.

As an expert in change communications, you will provide direction and support to communications resources across project portfolios ensuring consistency in change communication and engagement to support change initiatives.

What you’ll deliver with us

  • Collaborate with the PIVOT Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Change Portfolio Managers to develop the PIVOT change communications strategy and plans, focusing on enhancing strategic oversight, optimizing resource allocation, and minimizing stakeholder disruption.
  • Create and implement the PIVOT stakeholder engagement and communications strategy, including plans and materials, to help the GM PIVOT effectively communicate the value of PIVOT to stakeholders.
  • Lead and coordinate change communications specialists across various projects, ensuring their impact is maximized while preventing overburdening of project and change managers, in order to successfully plan and execute change management for complex projects or programs within the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the AP Enterprise Communications team to maintain consistency and ensure coordinated delivery of communications through both direct and indirect channels.
  • Ensure program teams engage with the business in a unified and coordinated manner to enhance the employee experience.
  • Provide change communications coaching to senior leaders, program managers, and key stakeholders as needed, ensuring messaging is aligned and consistent.

About you

  • Extensive experience in creating and executing comprehensive change communications strategies and stakeholder engagement, tailored to diverse audiences within large and complex organizations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in change communications for major transformation programs, including technology implementations and process re-engineering, utilizing a variety of channels and techniques to track audience responses to communications.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, presentation, and written communication skills, with advanced proficiency in digital communication platforms.
  • Strong skills in issue management and risk mitigation.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, effectively prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
