Continuous Improvement Lead

  • Be a champion of change, driving optimisation to create community value.
  • Inspire, influence and innovate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Be rewarded working in a community-centric organisation that values flexibility and supportive working options.

The Continuous Improvement Leader is an exciting new role within the Barwon Water Customer Centre. You will be at the forefront of innovation and crucial to the success of the team and broader organisation, as we transform the way we operate and service our community.

About The Role

As the driving force in embedding a Continuous Improvement mindset across the Customer Centre, you will seek new initiatives and ways of working, providing leadership on improvement programs that create real impact and value. You will facilitate workshops, identify change advocates and run small groups that will assist in the role out of these programs.

Success in this role means better customer outcomes and improved customer satisfaction. Your projects will boost employee engagement and fine-tune our customer operations teams, to deliver smarter services and modernise how we operate.

About You

You’re more than just someone with a strong background in delivering optimisation programs. You have a continuous improvement mindset, backed up by natural curiosity. Unafraid to challenge the status quo, you’re motivated to overcome challenges and spark change.

As a true collaborator, you will bring a solutions first outlook and growth mindset to the business as your skills will increase the capability of your team. You have a hunger to uncover business improvement and process optimisation opportunities that will benefit our staff, business and community.

Your qualifications in business, management, or a similar field will be put to the test as you bring proven proficiency in process design and innovation using improvement methodologies such as LEAN.
