About the role
As a Security Analyst, you will be at the forefront of Barwon Water’s security efforts. You will manage comprehensive disaster recovery and penetration testing programs, identifying and mitigating potential security threats. Leading our incident response efforts, you will conduct thorough analyses of security incidents and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences. Your role will also involve continuously monitoring our IT environment for vulnerabilities, ensuring timely identification and remediation of security risks. Additionally, you will oversee asset management and discovery processes, maintaining an accurate inventory of all IT/OT/IoT assets and ensuring their security.
Your contributions will play a pivotal role in driving the development and enhancement of cyber security processes and procedures. Your work will ensure that cyber security remains a top priority and is effectively integrated into our business operations. Responsible for key desktop simulations and run disaster scenarios, you will be the champion for cyber maturity uplift, aimed to ensure our cyber processes are robust.

Your qualifications in cyber security or IT infrastructure will be put to the test as you combine your theoretical knowledge into practicable solutions. You will be a strong communicator who is able to work under time pressure in a fast paced yet supportive environment.
