As a Project Manager at BGIS, you will play a critical role in transforming ambitious project goals into reality. This position requires strong leadership to oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. With a focus on exceptional customer service and operational excellence, the Project Manager will drive continuous improvement and innovation while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
This is a full-time, onsite position based in Parramatta, initially focused on a government project for the first 12 months, with scope to work with other BGIS clients thereafter. The role requires expertise in asset and project management, with a strong emphasis on digital asset management programs. You will also be responsible for presenting system management solutions to clients and introducing new technologies to optimize their operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end project delivery, from defining scope to final handover.
- Oversee project budgets, including cost forecasting, invoicing, and financial reporting.
- Lead and coordinate project teams and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with OHS & E policies.
- Optimize project workflows to enhance efficiency and stakeholder communication.
- Track project progress, implement necessary adjustments, and provide detailed reports to executive management.
- Focus on digital asset management plan programs and ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
- Present system management solutions to clients, recommending and implementing new systems for improved asset management.
What We’re Looking For
- Extensive experience in project management, particularly with Capex programs.
- Strong background in contract management with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
- Proven knowledge of QA, OH&S, and environmental management systems.
- Proficiency in project management software, including Word, Excel, and MS Project.
- Experience with asset management and digital systems.
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technology-driven solutions to clients.
Qualifications
- Certificate IV in OHS or demonstrated experience in project management.
- Diploma/Graduate Diploma in Project Management or a relevant bachelor’s degree.
- Valid General Induction for the Construction Industry card.
