About the Role
BGIS is seeking an experienced and motivated Cleaning Operations Manager to oversee cleaning services across high-profile client sites in the Sydney CBD. This is a leadership role for a hands-on professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is committed to service excellence.
You will be responsible for managing cleaning teams, maintaining high service standards, conducting site audits, and ensuring strong client relationships. Your presence on-site will be essential to driving daily operations and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily cleaning operations across multiple commercial CBD sites
- Lead and mentor on-site teams to ensure performance and quality standards are met
- Act as the primary contact for clients, ensuring responsive and professional service
- Conduct regular inspections, audits, and reporting
- Manage staff rosters, supplies, and service delivery timelines
- Maintain WHS compliance and implement corrective actions where needed
About You
- Australian citizenship is required due to client and site security requirements
- Strong background in cleaning operations, ideally across high-traffic or premium sites
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate teams
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working on-site five days per week
- Valid driver’s licence and full working rights in Australia
