About the role

Reporting to the Enterprise Solution Architect, this new 12 month fixed term role will be responsible for the end to end architecture of our cloud and hosting capabilities. Working with a small team and utilising relationships across the business and other government departments/agencies, this role will ensure architecture artifacts are delivered on time and that requirements are met.

The Domain Architect will need to leverage technological expertise to implement multi cloud capabilities for Cenitex and our customers ensuring we meet or exceed business and customer expectations.

The role will also require management of solution architects as allocated.

About You

You will have proven senior domain and product architecture skills as well as significant experience leading activities related to implementation of Hybrid Cloud and multi cloud for large organisations. Expertise with multiple cloud vendors is required (MS Azure, AWS and Oracle Cloud) as well as private cloud expertise (VMWare). Experience with developing architecture for multivendor cloud and workload migration is essential.

Job Requirements

You have led a project or product architecture team, managed vendor architects and cross functional architecture leads. You will be also expected to work closely as the technology lead with the project manager and service owner.

• You will have a demonstrated ability to develop and drive operational objectives through effective planning and coordination of business functions.
• Your superior communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to credibly, negotiate and obtain strategic outcomes at the most senior levels. You’ll be a highly polished presenter able to influence audiences, throughout the Victorian State Government.
• You will show a dedication to service excellence with demonstrated experience in leading and implementing initiatives that deliver improved customer experience and enhanced standing of the organisation.
• An understanding of security architecture principles is a must.
