Your focus will include:

  • Coordinate procurement for the designated work area

  • Coordinate construction elements for the designated work area

  • Managing the short- and long-term construction planning for works under control including submittals, start-up planning, programming, pre-commissioning and commissioning work

  • Liaise regularly with manager to report progress, areas of concern / issues and the potential options/changes to resolve

  • Assisting the Senior Project Engineer in preparing accurate monthly reports and weekly cost updates

  • Developing and monitoring KIP and Productivity analysis against program and budget

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and all relevant Alliance policies and processes.

  • Develop and maintain an awareness of the hazards and associated HSSE risks and demonstrate a commitment to eliminate or minimize those risks.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. BSc Eng).

  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) – preferred.

  • Membership of relevant Engineering Institutions (e.g. Engineers Australia) – preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience specifically in mechanical and piping discipline.

  • Demonstrated commercial experience to include planning up to 4 weeks ahead and weekly reporting against cost and time

  • Applying Engineering Principles to comply with scope of works and technical criteria (SWTC)

  • Experience with engineering contracting or consultancy organisations in one or more of the following sectors – Oil & Gas, Mining & Minerals, and Infrastructure / Utilities.
