Salary range $159,800 – $216,200 incl. super

About You:

Your audit experience is vital to your success in this role. Your experience will also include:

  • Stakeholder engagement and management skills
  • Strong communication skills – you use your verbal and written skills to provide practical advice
  • Capabilities with risk management as well as experience in the energy industry is desired but not essential

About the role:

You will play a leadership role in the delivery of an effective assurance function, coordinating the assurance program across the business and the internal audit program with the support of external service providers. You will also deliver assurance projects through personal contributions and prepare reports to the Corporation’s Audit Committee. You will participate in the development of the strategic internal audit plan and then make recommendations for the scheduling of audits covering risk based financial, compliance, performance and information technology project audits throughout the organisation.

Your strong relationship skills assist you with cross collaboration within your team and across the organisation educating them on governance and assurance practices and best practice models for control assurance.
