Your Opportunity
Join a driven and agile Water Team based in Sydney solving water-related problems across New South Wales, Australia, and the Globe. As our Senior/Principal Mechanical Process Engineer, you will be working closely with clients and the wider New South Wales and Australian water teams to understand requirements and scope for upgrade, design and optimisation of water and wastewater treatment systems.

• Demonstrate your industry recognised analytical skills to drive improvement and efficiencies in treatment plant operations that could reduce our community's carbon and waste footprints and improve the environment.
• Drive and support design programs and projects requiring input from multiple disciplines to develop robust and coordinated solution that will become exemplar projects in the industry.
• Take a l role on tenders / proposals to contribute to our team's growth and direction.
• Champion our global practice to help develop the next generation of engineers.

About You

• Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical or Environmental) qualified with 5+ years post graduate Industry experience.
• Water industry experience with water and/or wastewater treatment process design, including detailed knowledge of current and emerging technologies.
• Passion for sharing knowledge to others both in your discipline and within the wider Mott MacDonald team.
• Ability and desire to explain process engineering from first principles / concept through to complex and innovative solutions, and enthusiastic about providing technical over site and assistance across our local and interstate teams.
• Passionate about ensuring the quality and accuracy of deliverables including reports, options assessments, functional descriptions and/or specifications.
