As a Spatial Specialist, you’ll work with internal stakeholders to develop business requirements. you’ll help find clever solutions to interesting problems as you grow your skills every day. And you’ll do it with down-to-earth people who you’re proud to work with and get to know. Here’s how:

  • Extracting, transforming and analysing data
  • Creating ESRI ArcMaps that incorporate good visual design principles
  • Producing business centric reports that convey complex concepts in a clear manner
  • Reporting on information/data related risks, issues, solutions and controls.
  • Recommending changes to make business processes more efficient
  • Undertaking advanced spatial data analysis to support electricity network strategy

The community you will join

Based at our Virginia office, you'll join a team that is focused on a commitment to supportqing the business by developing and maintaining spatial analysis and mapping information products from the Geographical Information Systems (GIS). Our team values collaboration, innovation, and a customer-centric approach in everything we do.

Your expertise

  • A formal qualification in Geographical information systems, cartography, spatial information science or an equivalent discipline.
  • Great attention to detail and the ability to produce quality technical solutions
  • Demonstrated experience in the establishment and support of complex spatial analysis singular and multi workflow analytical scripts to solve business problems
  • Knowledge and experience in working within a Geographical Information System, to facilitate the production of high quality products and services to meet customer needs

    We’d also love you to have:
  • Experience with FME and ESRI suite or similar tools
