We are a versatile team of 15 project controllers and pricing analysts accompanying each project through its lifecycle. With the wide range of responsibilities and tasks we conduct, there will be learning opportunities around each corner.

About the Role

The Graduate – Project Controlling is an entry level position within the Finance department and is responsible for assisting the Project Controlling team in the preparation of its key deliverables.

As Project Controller - Graduate, you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:

  • Creating and maintaining project work breakdown structures and performing regular reviews of actual cost against approved budget with the project manager;
  • Performing basic analysis on variances to planning and forecast projections;
  • Monitoring, updating and reporting customer milestone date variances to management;
  • Billing and calculation of price adjustment to the customer;
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of financial models and internal reporting to provide reliable and useful information; and
  • Supporting continuous improvements within the Finance team.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance/ Accounting/ Commerce or related disciplines;
  • Commercially minded with financial and analytical skills;
  • Intermediate MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook);
  • Good stakeholder management and communication (written and verbal) skills;
  • High level of enthusiasm to learn and take on new tasks and challenges;
  • Ability to travel internationally and interstate, when required; and
  • Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
