What you’ll do

To work in close partnership with other departments and outside agencies, delivering the key objectives of combating ticketless travel, low level crime, disorder, anti-social behaviour and related problems on Southeastern. As well as this you will also have a number of other tasks and duties such as supervising operations and taskings as directed by your Railway Enforcement Management Team, ensuring all REO depots comply with all relevant legislation and competencies and carrying out other work as directed by your Railway Enforcement Management Team.

  • You’ll complete a mix of classroom-based and on-the-job learning, covering everything from functional skills to conflict management.

Although it’s always a last resort, sometimes physical intervention is needed to resolve a conflict. Our training will make sure you can do this confidently and safely.

Your shifts

  • You will work a varied shift pattern, which includes weekends, bank holidays and nights.
  • Shifts can start as early as 6am or finish at 2am.
  • Rosters vary but it’s likely you’ll work one week of early shifts followed by three weeks of late shifts.

The experience you’ll need

      • Experience of developing and implementing coaching plans to improve individuals output to ensure achievements of desired objectives
      • Experience of conducting interviews and investigations in line with HR procedure
