Business Analyst
Join our team at Team Global Express (TGE) as a IT Business Analyst. In this critical role, you will collaborate with diverse stakeholders to ensure that organisational objectives are understood and delivered. You will work across the business to extract, analyse, communicate, and validate requirements to deliver the best IT solutions and outcomes.
This role is key in managing stakeholders, communicating with vendors, and driving change and improvement initiatives. You will lead major initiatives, facilitate workshops, and support project delivery throughout the entire software delivery lifecycle. Your ability to break down large projects into deliverable epics and maintain traceability between requirements and solutions will be crucial.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Major Initiatives: Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure business processes and technology solutions align with organisational goals and strategy.
- Facilitate Workshops: Lead and facilitate workshops to evaluate, analyse, and communicate business and technology requirements, processes, and solution designs.
- Project Management: Break down large projects into deliverable epics, evolving from a minimum viable product to a fully developed solution.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Consult and collaborate with internal business and technical stakeholders to better understand business and functional requirements.
- Support Project Delivery: Support the delivery of projects throughout the entire software delivery lifecycle, including creating user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain working relationships with key stakeholders, including business, IT, suppliers, and vendors.
Skills and Qualifications
- Professional Experience: Successfully contributed to the delivery of complex large-scale IT projects (6+ years).
- Methodology Knowledge: Experience working in both waterfall and Agile environments, familiar with continuous delivery and the software delivery lifecycle.
- Technical and Functional Expertise: Strong background in business process modelling, use case analysis, and technical understanding to assist in high-level system architecture.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication (verbal and written), negotiation, and facilitation skills.
- Documentation Skills: Strong documentation skills, including writing business and functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Problem-Solving Ability: A proactive problem solver who can think outside the box and has a flexible and adaptable attitude.
