What you'll contribute to
An exciting opportunity for a Senior Strategic Planning Specialist to join Lexus Australia in a full-time permanent role.
The Lexus Division is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of sales, aftersales, marketing, and strategy. Its goal is to deliver offerings that embody the highest standards of luxury, exceeding customer expectations to achieve sales volume, market share, and profitability targets, while also strengthening the Lexus brand.
This role will play a critical part in shaping Lexus Australia's strategic direction by:
- Developing and implementing long-term business strategies.
- Guiding and overseeing key strategic initiatives and projects.
- Facilitating collaboration across departments to ensure alignment with Lexus Australia's strategic vision.
This role is based in Port Melbourne with flexible work arrangements on offer.
How you'll make an impact
- Drive the development and implementation of business strategies for upcoming vehicle launches, cross-vehicle initiatives, and long-term goals.
- Manage and align key strategic projects across departments to ensure timely execution and successful delivery.
- Act as the primary liaison for Lexus Strategy, ensuring seamless communication and alignment across Sales, After-Sales, Marketing, and Franchise Development teams.
- Manage Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) activities and provide recommendations to capture key learnings for future business strategies.
- Serve as the primary contact for Lexus Strategy. Ensure the timely distribution of reliable and relevant information.
- Support the coordination and facilitation of strategic planning workshops and development forums, including Launch Timing Meetings and Dealer Working Parties, to ensure that vehicle strategies, plans, progress, and issues are effectively communicated to all stakeholders.

- Update and maintain reporting systems to deliver accurate and timely information that supports planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities within the business.

- A degree qualification or equivalent experience
- Over 5 years of cumulative experience
- Experience in project management and product strategy or business strategy
- Luxury retail or automotive experience preferred.
- A background in strategic marketing or marketing communications is highly desirable.
