Your role:

We are seeking a CCTV Maintenance Manager to oversee the management and maintenance of our CCTV systems across our vessel fleet and wharves in which Transdev Sydney Ferries operate. This is a key leadership role that is responsible for developing and implementing strategies that mitigate CCTV security system failures, ensure business continuity, and safeguard the organisation’s people and assets.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Transdev Sydney Ferries in this newly created role where you will be at the forefront in achieving our goal in maintaining security systems across our business.

Your responsibilities:



  • Manage a team in the planned and corrective maintenance activities for IP CCTV systems across our network of wharves and vessels within Sydney harbour.
  • Project manage the work on upgrades and other works as required including the creation of documents for planned maintenance
  • Knowledge in using defect management systems or software such as Hexagon
  • Complete procurement requirement for critical parts needed for inventory
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to CCTV Technicians, ensuring their performance aligns with organisational standards and goals

The talent you bring:

  • Demonstrated expert level knowledge of Genetec CCTV system
  • Have managed critical failures of CCTV systems
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology (Networking) or equivalent, NSW Security License is mandatory, EWP Licence up to 11m (advantageous)
  • Solid understanding of both installation and maintenance of CCTV hardware including relevant network interfaces, cabling, fit-off, and commissioning of CCTV Systems.
  • High level of awareness of CCTV architecture for transport systems eg. Ferries, Wharves.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams in a similar role or environment
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to negotiate outcomes in favour of TDSF
