The Opportunity
This is your chance to play a play a pivotal role in Transgrid’s HumeLink as an Asset Management Interface Lead. You will spearhead the project with our industry-leading asset management framework. As the key liaison between the HumeLink project team and Transgrid’s Asset Management team, you will drive collaboration, facilitate approvals for design and construction variations, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
In this role, you will work closely with technical teams to resolve interface challenges, oversee the approval process for standard deviation requests, and provide strategic guidance on integrating asset management principles into project execution. Your ability to engage stakeholders, navigate complex approvals, and ensure seamless coordination will be essential to the success of HumeLink and Australia’s clean energy future.
About You
- Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline) and 10+ years of experience in high-voltage infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on design, construction, asset management, or operations
- Extensive experience interfacing with asset management teams in a regulated utility or transmission and digital engineering, data analytics, and asset performance modelling to support decision-making
- Spectacular verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage all stakeholders, prepare and present high-quality reports, risk assessments, and approval documentation.
- Strong expertise in asset lifecycle management, risk assessment, regulatory compliance and ISO 55001-certified asset management systems within the transmission sector
- Superb organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and approvals in a high-pressure environment, ensuring timely delivery of project requirements
