        A little bit about you

        You’re an experienced leader with a strong background in Mechanical maintenance, Water quality Treatment processes and maintenance. You have a can-do attitude that delivers positivity and motivation to teams and individuals.

        Computer skills and some knowledge of MS office

        Experience in leading a team with safety as a priority.

        Key skills and experience:

        • Mechanical Trade Certificate (Fitter/Machinist/Turner)
        • Experience with chemical systems
        • Pneumatic/hydraulic systems,
        • Pressure regulating valves.
        • Ability to participate in standby rosters and be available for travel to assist other districts when required.
        • Relevant High Risk Licenses
        • WA ‘MR’ Class Drivers Licence

        What You’ll do

        You’ll be leading a workshop-based team of Mechanical Fitters along with apprentices in their early careers. On top of this, you’ll be conducting site visits, quoting, reviewing pump maintenance process’s, developing Safe Job Plans and doing field observations for safety reporting.

        You’ll also spend some time supporting and collaborating with your fellow team leaders both locally and in other districts in the Goldfields Agricultural Region , offering your knowledge and expertise.
