Business Unit/Role Specific Info
This position is a 10-week summer internship. Our Corporate Affairs & Communications (CA&C) organisation is seeking a high-performing summer intern to join a winning global communications team based in the UK. The internship provides a terrific opportunity to gain hands on experience in many aspects of public relations, employee communications, social media and events by working on high visibility projects that help advance strategic business initiatives. Throughout the course of the summer, interns are given exposure to senior leadership across CA&C.
How You’ll Contribute:
- You’ll support the Corporate Affairs and Communications team on a variety of summer projects that could include:
- Writing and editing press releases, messaging, social media copy and more
- Researching and creating targeted media lists
- Developing and executing internal communication strategies and events
- Assist in the development of third-party consumer and business research for external leverage
- Brainstorm potential communication concepts and approaches to select marketing programs
- Assisting with the creation and execution of social campaigns around select events and activations
- Various research projects such as on company initiatives, peer and competitor benchmarking, media trends and landscapes, identifying background articles for interview preparation, researching issues for executive briefings

- Team player with ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues across a large organization
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent written, verbal, and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to create reports and manage ongoing monitoring of key issues and programs
- Excellent project management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Thrives in a quick moving, dynamic environment
- Ability to think independently, quickly and apply good judgment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate flexibility
- Excellent attention to detail Requirements/Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program
