The Opportunity

We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Business Improvement Specialist to join our team in Brisbane on a 12-Month Max-Term Contract.

Reporting to the Manager Project Controls, this role will lead and facilitate project teams to identify and effectively resolve problems resulting in measurable and sustainable business improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying, leading, and participating in projects to improve the effectiveness of the Project Delivery function within Infrastructure Delivery
  • Work with business stakeholders to document business requirements for business improvement initiatives
  • Ability to design business processes and document via processes, procedures, frameworks and work instructions
  • Ownership and continuous improvement of the project delivery framework suite of documents and templates
  • Manage and administration for project controls systems including Prism, Primavera P6, Power BI and Altus. Experience with any of these systems is an advantage but not mandatory
  • Collaborate with Internal Audit to close out audit actions

Your background

  • Tertiary qualifications in business or similar (preferred not mandatory)
  • Demonstrated experience with procedure writing, process design and business improvement processes
  • Effective external stakeholder management skills
