Agile Senior Project Manager/ Platform Release Train Engineer

As a Platform Release Train Engineer, you will be an individual contributor with responsibilities that include performing Release Train Engineering RnR across multiple delivery teams, maintaining deep platform technical working knowledge and eye for business, managing Agile, Lean practice implementation across SSD portfolio, and much more. Accountabilities:


Your accountabilities will span across financial and capacity management, demand management, platform delivery operations, and platform release train practice management. You will manage release train and IT project budgets, resource plans, manage relationships with 3rd party suppliers, drive release train delivery effectiveness with multiple scrum teams and/or complex inter-team dependency networks, implement practice improvements through partnering with domain area platform delivery leads, scrum master and scrum leads, among other responsibilities.

Essential Skills/Experience:


- Degree level education or equivalent experience in computer science or similar
- Prior experience in an Information Services/Information Technology Project Management with good eye for business
- Proven experience of managing relationships with 3rd party suppliers
- Experience with multiple different types software risks
- Project Management
- Practice Management – drive continuous improvement
- Ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language
- Working knowledge of Agile Software Development techniques and Methodologies
- Deployment methods delivered as part of an agile team
- Proficient in all aspects of Agile and SaFE (can lead, teach, and run)

Desirable Skills/Experience:


- Line management experience

-Experience of working within a quality and compliance environment and application of policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Customer Experience
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of the external market
- Demonstrate initiative, strong customer orientation, and cross-cultural working
