Job Title: Material Change Planner

Introduction to Role:

Join our Sourcing & Supply team within UK Operations, where we manage the material flow through the factory, enabling our packaging and processing areas to produce stock for customer orders to over 100 countries globally. As a Material Change Planner, you will manage the operational material management within your respective product portfolio. This role requires the management of incoming and new copy components to enable excellent customer service, efficient execution of the supply plans, and optimal inventory at the agreed lead times.

Accountabilities:

As a Material Change Planner, you will operationally coordinate the supply of material in alignment with production demand at agreed stock levels. You will minimise write-off of old materials due to implementation of a pack change or obsolescence by reviewing planned implementation timescales of proposed changes with Production Planner. You will ensure accuracy of minimum and maximum stock levels/safety stocks for assigned materials and actively review standards and ways of working to continuously improve processes.

Essential Skills/Experience:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills with good MS Office knowledge

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects/tasks effectively

- Demonstrated success working in a team environment

- Strong analytical and organisational skills

Desirable Skills/Experience:

- Knowledge of SAP

- Experience of working in Supply Chain management

- Understanding of Pharmaceutical GMP principles an advantage
