Join our dedicated UK Oncology Business Unit as an Oncology Training Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and administering scientific training programs and capability skills focusing on the Sales, Medical and Diagnostic field force teams. This ensures broad and comprehensive therapy area knowledge and solid scientific and clinical understanding to ABPI standards for all customer-facing functions.

Accountabilities:

As an Oncology Training Manager, you will ensure our teams are adequately trained and always up to date in all scientific areas related to the relevant tumour type in terms of disease, treatment, and guidelines. You will roll out agile and innovative solutions to deliver scientific training and updates, exploiting digital and omnichannel approaches as well as new technologies. You will also liaise with Global Oncology Training and Development team to build or customize existing training materials and ensure all local training material is always up to date.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • APBI qualified
  • Pharmaceutical experience
  • Excellence in leading/facilitating in a team
  • Excellence in coaching
  • Strategic and creative thinking
  • Change management
  • Training and development experience in secondary care selling environment
  • Experience in developing bespoke capability programs for different functions
  • Understanding of customer engagement programs and training

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Sales or Head Office experience in pharmaceuticals
  • Advanced communication and influencing skills
  • Prior training and development role
  • Marketing experience
