Quantity Surveyor
This hybrid role offers a great balance of home and office working. You’ll join your colleagues in our Ipswich, Southend or Eastbourne office at least 2 days a week.

Joining us as a Quantity Surveyor
Our Quantity Surveyors play a vital role in delivering digital infrastructure across the UK by building strong, collaborative relationships with our build partners and teams, ensuring a smooth process and maximum quality across every build. Working as part of our Supply Chain division, you’ll support the commercial and contractual management and relationships of a portfolio of telecoms projects including new builds, city enhancement projects and field service frameworks.
You’ll receive a competitive salary of up to £47k, a performance related bonus, and a range of benefits to support you across your financial, physical and mental wellbeing.
This is some of what you can expect to be doing:
- Contract management through CEMAR - experience in using that system would be a benefit.
- Dealing with compensation events/ Variations from our build partners.
- Cause & risk reduction meetings with build partner.
- Working closely with the Build Team to forecast costs & feed them back into the business.
- Receiving Monthly application for payment from the build partners and assessing those within a week & issuing a payment certificate at the end of that week.
- Cost reporting and cost analysis that will be fed back into the business to make decisions.
What you’ll bring to the role
You will already be working as a Quantity Surveyor / Assistant Quantity Surveyor in the Construction / Civil Engineering industries and will also have:
- Experience receiving application for payments and issuing payment certificates (valuing monthly accounts/applications)
- Experience in valuing cost claims from the contractor (compensation events or variations).
- Holds skills and experience of cost reporting and identifying cost trends.
