Commercial Manager – Data and Analytics

Joining us as a Commercial Manager - Data & Analytics
You will lead our commercial and contracts team on data management and insights from across CityFibre’s portfolio of projects and functions. These will include a mix of, new build establishment, city enhancement projects and field service frameworks. The role includes leadership across the function to drive best practice and continuous development within a fast-paced, multi-billion pound, construction led capital expenditure project.

This is some of what you can expect to be doing:
- Lead, develop and implement data collection systems with other strategies that optimize data quality and routine reporting. You will play a leading role in setting and managing the data agenda to support the Contract Management function
- Develop and maintain data accuracy for the reporting alignment with PMO, Finance and the wider business
- Analyse large and complex data sets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that inform business decisions to promote key standardised reporting
- Coach/Develop and mentor commercial team-members and multi-disciplinary peers on best practices in data analysis and visualisation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for spend optimisation and cost control improvements, using data to drive insights and recommendations.
What you’ll bring to the role
You will have a solid background in Quantity Surveying and be a great communicator with a collaborative approach to your work with strong stakeholder management skills. You’ll also have:
- The ability to develop business requirements for reporting and project management (high level), from concept, implementation, execution and continuous improvement
- Presentation skills for report writing and communication at Director level.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large and complex data sets
- Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Tableau and / or Power BI, to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis tools and techniques, with the ability to drive insights and recommendations.
