FM Conway is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join our fast-growing Aggregates and Asphalt Division. As our Credit Controller you will help collect cash and reconcile credit and invoices for the A&A division. This is a full-time position based from our head office in Sevenoaks, Kent.

The duties of the Credit Controller role will include:

- Communicating with customers effectively to ensure a strong working relationship with our customer base

- Chasing any disputes that may relate to customer accounts before they fall due for payment

- Ensuring compliance with the service level standard and contributing to its further development and improvement, ensuring any outstanding information is provided to customers to ensure payments are received in line with customers payment terms

- Building and maintaining relationships with all relevant departments within our team, to ensure the business to operate effectively and efficiently to meet forecasts

- Accurately following processes when completing invoicing and credit notes to minimise invoice queries

- Reconciling payments, sending out statements and making full use of internal systems for account reporting

- Managing time effectively whilst working towards targets and being able to identify debt issues when reconciling large groups of data

What skills and experience do you need?

To be considered for the Credit Controller role you must have previous credit control experience ideally from either an aggregates or construction background. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong customer focus.
