We currently have a vacancy for a Stores Co-Ordinator to join our dynamic stores team at Leeds Vehicle Maintenance Facility (VMF).

Reporting to the Stores Manager, the Stores Co-ordinator will be responsible for optimising the day-to-day efficiency of the administration element of the stores function.

What will be your responsibilities?

  • Raise all requisitions within our Asset Management System (AMS) and Procurement system (eProcurement) for all areas of the Maintenance business.
  • Ensure all goods are receipted in both AMS and eProcurement.
  • Process and code invoices.
  • Manage all Materials inboxes and complete requests within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Participate in quarterly stock counts including physical counts and administration tasks.
  • Work with the relevant teams in our Shared Service Centre to ensure all Purchase Orders are coherent in AMS, eProcurement and Spreadsheet.
  • Liaise with external suppliers where required.

On your first day, we’ll expect you to have:

  • Strong communication and IT skills.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Asset Management Systems and Procurement systems; ideally AMS, eProcurement and OnBase.

What are the hours?

The contractual basic hours for this role are 35 hours per week.

Working days are Monday to Friday, 7 hours per day with a half hour unpaid meal break.

The team you will be a part of is well aligned towards achieving the same goal, to ensure the stores function runs efficiently to support the locomotive maintenance depot that is Leeds VMF as well as other depots within the wider Maintenance business.
