The Role
We are currently looking for multiple Implementation Specialists to join our dynamic, Global Client Solutions Team to work closely and collaboratively with clients and colleagues to implement our financial planning and wealth management software,Xplan. You will ensure an appropriate solution is agreed with our clients and see that it is delivered to specification, cost and time, providing a rigorous and robust approach to the implementation of software. Through your detailed functional and product knowledge you will achieve the best possible outcome for our client.
What you will be doing
Drive and own the delivery and implementation of solution design playing a key role in gaining internal and client agreement on how solutions will be implemented
Develop and foster strong client relationships with ease to identify, shape and confirm client value, expectations and requirements
Analyse, document and confirm outputs to ensure the implemented solution is understood, has appropriate sign off, and to the clients satisfaction
Configure the Iress solution in accordance with the solution design and in line with the package of products the customer has purchased, ensuring the configuration is delivered to a high level of quality undergoing peer review and unit testing
Develop and maintain detailed databases of appropriate reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specifications
Ensure that any configuration you implement is tested and you will assist in the peer review testing of work done by others in the team
A drive towards more commoditised and scalable implementations will be a key part of your thinking and approach
Provide guidance and support to clients to ensure that they have sufficient knowledge of the solution to make informed decisions
Provide support where required in pre-sales activities and in servicing existing clients, through providing advice, configuration and guidance where appropriate
Proactively participate in Chapters and Guilds to support your personal development
What you will need
Core work experience within financial services within a software implementation capacity
Knowlegde of Xplan will be essential
Excellent oral and written communication skills that build knowledge and confidence with internal and external audiences
A problem solving mentality with a thorough approach to analysis
Technical understanding to configure software to the clients satisfaction and in line with solution design
Excellent attention to detail with the ability able to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into a detailed understanding
Able to work well under pressure and at speed, prioritising and co-ordinating multiple tasks across multiple projects
Experience with Jira and an agile working environment would be ideal
A professional manner, being accessible to clients and providing timely and succinct information
