As a Global Clearing Operations Analyst in Global Clearing Operations team, you'll be responsible for performing control reconciliations to verify trade positions, investigating settlements, and focusing on process re-engineering and automation.

Global Clearing Operations supports Clearing, Reconciliations, Middle Office, F&O (Futures and Options) House Ops, Expiries & Deliveries, Settlement, Brokerage, Client On-boarding, Client Money, Regulatory Reporting, Static Data Management and Position Management.

Job responsibilities

  • Clears all J.P.Morgan and 3rd party executed trades on EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) located markets on T and T+
  • Performs reconciliations against market sources
  • Performs numerous control reconciliations to verify trading positions are accurate through front office to middle office reconciliations, middle office to back office reconciliations
  • Investigates and provides solutions to various queries from settlements and confirmations
  • Completes operations projects and ad hoc requests to satisfy new initiatives and operations/technology enhancements (new system implementations)

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Extensive knowledge of Global Futures exchanges / products
  • In depth knowledge of F&O trade flows including downstream system impact
  • Ensure clearing teams are processing (execution, full service and NCM (Non-Clearing Members) business) accurately and in a timely fashion
  • Ensure Trade / position breaks are escalated and resolved on TD + 1
  • Ensure Positions are maintained accurately at the exchange / broker and in the firms’ books & records
  • Ensure Client queries / issues are dealt with appropriately and on a timely basis.
  • Ensure Ad hoc requests are dealt with on a timely basis and in an appropriate manner.
  • Strong logical/analytical mindset, with the ability to think outside the box and challenge the status quo
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Previous experience in Finance industry (operations roles) is preferred
  • Preferred availability to work Monday 12-6pm, Thursday 12-6pm and Friday 11-6pm but open to discussion with candidates
