As a Product Manager in the Corporate Sector Identity and Access Management team, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Manager to join our team, focusing on Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) for Single Sign-On (SSO) and App2App authentication. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in identity and access management, with a specific focus on ADFS and related technologies. This role will be responsible for driving the strategy, development, and implementation of secure authentication solutions to enhance user experience and security across our applications.

Job responsibilities

  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including engineering, security, compliance, and business units, to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful delivery of authentication solutions.
  • Conducts market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices in identity and access management, particularly in the financial services industry.
  • Leads the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation and requirements gathering to design, development, testing, and deployment of ADFS-based authentication solutions.
  • Ensures a seamless and secure user experience by designing intuitive authentication workflows and interfaces, and continuously improving the user journey based on feedback and analytics.
  • Works closely with the security and compliance teams to ensure that all authentication solutions meet the highest standards of security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Establishes key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the performance and effectiveness of authentication solutions, and implement improvements as needed.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, with a focus on identity and access management, particularly ADFS for SSO and App2App authentication.
  • Strong understanding of authentication protocols and standards, including SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and Kerberos.
  • Experience with Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) and related technologies.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and regulatory requirements in the financial services industry.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus
