As a Global Security Business Intelligence Project Manager in the Global Intelligence team, you will be working with internal partners and external third parties to conduct enhanced due diligence on individuals and entities deemed to be of higher risk to the firm. You will be part of a team that provides intelligence support, research and enhanced due diligence to JPMC’s Lines of Business globally.

Job responsibilities

  • Interact regularly with senior internal JPMC clients globally to understand and define their intelligence requirements on a variety of individuals and entities
  • Communicate intelligence requirements clearly and commission cost-effective and high-quality intelligence reports from external partners
  • Undertake detailed assessment of intelligence reports to identify gaps and issues
  • Write and edit reports to a very high standard to improve clarity and conciseness for senior internal clients
  • Conduct in-depth independent research on relevant subjects
  • Conduct short-term standalone research projects, solo or with other GSBI team members
  • Manage external vendors, including invoicing, feedback and general performance
  • Conduct administration for the GSBI team, including detailed record-keeping, to ensure adherence with JPMC controls

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Relevant work experience in performing ground- and/or OSINT-based intelligence collection in multiple areas of the world
  • Experience conducting investigative work, intelligence analysis, and/or data analysis related to reputational, security, legal and other threats
  • Specific experience in collecting, analyzing, assessing and questioning OSINT and human-source intelligence and leading projects via clear processes, including documentation of procedures
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to drive projects and manage programs in a demanding customer environment that may require off-hours responses
  • Experience in developing and handling executive communication (written and verbal) and demonstrating negotiation and influence skills
  • Experience with vendor management, including detailed assessment of vendor products, the building of relationships and the provision of feedback to vendors
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in the corporate investigations/business intelligence sector or similar in-house role
  • Prior experience in banking, particularly on the client-facing side, as is knowledge of industry trends and the primary issues that concern banking clients
  • Experience with data visualization tools
