As a Non-Cleared Margin Rule Collateral Onboarding Analyst in the Collateral Portfolio Group team, you will ensure the onboarding and collateral readiness for JPM legal entities, trading counterparties, clients, and third-party providers. You will be responsible to deliver appropriately on the objectives of regulatory compliance, controls, process efficiency and client service for non-cleared margin rules. You will also apply your understanding of regulations, coupled with your knowledge of systems and processes, to manage clients though the onboarding process to meet the needs of our clients, business partners and regulators. Part of you duties will be also to build effective relationships in order to collaborate with various stakeholders across the firm; the Business, Credit, Legal, Risk and Operations. Leveraging these relationships will allow you to meet the firm’s obligation for regulatory compliance.

Job responsibilities

  • Manages relationship and collaboration across the internal stakeholders at J.P. Morgan, third party custodians and vendors/service providers
  • Works with clients through regulatory change; providing guidance where needed to ensure a positive client experience through the implementation process
  • Works with internal and external stakeholders to agree key client terms as well as create and draft client documentation
  • Oversees the end-to-end onboarding process for the client with internal teams directing legal, risk and ref data teams to assist clients in meeting regulatory obligations
  • Forecasts and reports key on-boarding metrics and tracks actual progress toward implementation
  • Supports projects for process redesign, business cost optimization and regulator requests
