Brief Description
The North & East route connects some of the biggest and most important.
Improving lines serving vital regional centres such as Sheffield, Leeds and Middlesbrough will see us play a crucial role in the Government's aim of improving transport services in the north. We will also be seeing the upgrade of the Trans-Pennine line - one of the most politically high-profile infrastructure projects in the country.
As the Infrastructure Maintenance Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Infrastructure Maintenance delivery team to deliver excellence across the board and play an important role in developing individuals and engaging the team.
At Network Rail, safety is at the heart of what we do, we're looking for someone as safety conscious as we are to identify and implement safety, asset performance, reliability, productivity improvement initiatives and manager the arrangements for staff safety and competency,
Key responsibilities include:
Checking that work is correctly prioritised and delivered to plan
Checking that inspection and maintenance of assets is completed to standards.
Ensuring that safety, compliance, performance and business processes are followed.
Monitoring delivery, productivity and efficiency of maintenance and project work plans.
Developing and deliver an annual Business Plan.
Managing the process to maintain data quality of business systems.
Acting as the Designated Competent Person (DCP) for both formal and local investigations and investigate and report on accidents/incidents.
Undertaking appropriate safety tours, staff surveillance, work quality and asset condition checks.
Discharging the relevant duties assigned to the CDM Client (Network Rail Infrastructure Limited) in accordance with the Construction, Design and Management (CDM) Regulations.

Are you?
Educated to degree level with relevant professional qualifications
Do you have?
Experience in maintenance management, processes and techniques
Knowledge of health and safety management and compliance management processes
Knowledge of business management processes and techniques
Knowledge of relevant standards and procedures
Knowledge of operational railway environment
Knowledge of other functional disciplines
Knowledge of CDM Regulations
Knowledge of investigation processes and techniques
Customer focused with good interpersonal, influencing, communication and organisation skills
