Risk & Assurance (R&A) function in PMI combines corporate-wide risk management capabilities with audit/assurance domain and drives synergies to address our company-wide objectives.

Non-financial Disclosure Assurance group within R&A function has been recently created to address evolving regulatory requirements, provide assurance on processes, controls and governance activities related to non-financial disclosures and support internal sustainability stakeholders to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.

Your 'day to day'

We are looking for a Lead Auditor Non-Financial Disclosure (ESG) who will be responsible for the below activities based on guidance received by Head of Non-Financial Disclosure Assurance:

  • Contributing to the continuous development and implementation of the ESG assurance strategy.
  • Supporting heads and manager in development of audit programs of non-financial reporting, mainly related to ESG disclosures.
  • Implementing the audit plan and conducting sophisticated audit activities on non-financial disclosures.
  • Contributing to preparation of audit reports, analysing report findings, and recommendation of action plans where needed, proposing creative and pragmatic solutions to risk and control issues.
  • Monitoring and responding to evolving ESG regulatory requirements, standards, and voluntary disclosures.
  • Contributing to development and implementation of audit programs of non-financial reporting.

Who we're looking for:

  • University degree (BA/BS) level education (e.g., Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Environmental Sciences, etc.)
  • Post University Professional Certification/Education preferred (e.g., Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Governance Risk Compliance Professional (GRCP) Certification, etc.)
  • Foundational understanding of ESG-related topics including the various frameworks, standards, and evolving regulations, such as Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Internal Control Over Sustainability Reporting (ICSR) and Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)
  • 6+ years of working experience in audit, assurance, or advisory activities, with a focus on ESG related topics preferably.
  • Good knowledge of governance, risk and control activities, their application to non-financial reporting and how to leverage them to build trust in the integrity of reported data. IT assurance and ITGC knowledge is a plus.
  • Building and maintaining effective working relationships through collaboration with different functions and business units.
