Senior Bid Manager – London
Are you an experienced Senior Bid Manager? Have you managed a small team before? If so, we want to hear from you!
Project Centre is hiring for a Senior Bid Manager, to join us on a full time, permanent basis. You will be based in London, attending our office 3 days a week with the occasional travel to our North offices.
As a Senior Bid Manager, you will help deliver the pipeline of bid opportunities and be responsible for leading and line managing the Bids team. You will be required to deliver high quality bid responses across the entire bid’s lifecycle, from Bid / No Bid decisions, project managing the full process and capturing learnings.
What you will be doing:
  • Lead the bid management process. Ensure timescales are achieved at each step of the bid process, including all internal governance, while taking the initiative in setting realistic deadlines.
  • Tracking and reporting on bids win/loss data
  • Obtaining feedback on successful and unsuccessful proposals to ensure continuous improvement in the bid process and reviewed with senior management
  • Bringing together best practice and lessons learnt from other bids
  • Review and edit bid content to ensure accuracy and excellence
  • Review and improve collateral responses
  • Accountable for folder and structure management of all opportunities
  • Lead on Social Value within the bid environment
  • Ensuring opportunity pipeline is managed effectively on CRM (Dynamics 365)
  • Managing tender portals including responses, tender queries and opportunity searchesCompleting PQQ documents and supplier questionnaires when required
  • Produce templates and standardised documentation
  • Drive continuous improvement, through post-bid reviews, both internally and with clients.
  • Setting the Bids team objectives, holding effective 1:1s with them, fostering a collaborative and engaging environment where the team feel supported and invested
