You will serve as a key escalation point within the support team, playing a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our Managed Service offering.

As Azure Support Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

  • Acting as a technical escalation point within the team, managing and resolving complex Microsoft Azure incidents, changes, service requests, and problem records
  • Meeting and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as defined by the Support Team Manager
  • Collaborating with the DevOps team to build, automate, and continually improve the Managed Service
  • Partnering with the Service Delivery team to ensure customers receive exceptional support and service

We'd love you to have

  • Strong proficiency in scripting languages, including Python, Bash, and PowerShell
  • Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
  • Expertise with Git and CI/CD tools, especially GitHub Actions
  • Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes in an enterprise environment
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise database systems like SQL and MySQL
  • A solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancers, and firewalls
  • A demonstrated passion for continuous learning, with a drive to stay current with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies
