We require a Project Manager & PMO Lead to take responsibility for project management within the wider programme and leading the programme PMO.

Softcat is embarking on a multi-year Sales transformation programme and we are currently in the system and partner selection stage. This role involves matrix management of multiple disciplines and close collaboration with various stakeholders, guiding business management and users, IT teams and third-party partners

As PMO Lead & Project Manager you'll be responsible for:

  • Support the Programme Manager
  • Lead the Project Management Office
  • Manage & coordinate workstream activity
  • Communication & Reporting
  • Risk Management

We'd love you to have

  • Extensive project management experience with a proven record of balancing multiple competing priorities and deadlines in large / similar sized programmes
  • Experience of managing and maintaining complex communications with all levels of stakeholders
  • Experience of best practice ways of working, common pitfalls, risks and mitigations
  • Experience of project managing business systems implementations for 500+ users in multiple locations.
  • Proven ability of applying methods and formality to project delivery in dynamic and unstructured environments to achieve successful outcomes and working with System Integrators.
