This is an exciting opportunity to join the newly formed ICS North and Midlands Team, and support our Midlands based Local Government and Healthcare customers during a hugely transformative period. The team is one of the largest teams across both Public Sector and Softcat as a whole with a combined yearly target of £8.8 million.

Work strategically with Local Government & Healthcare customers
The role is to manage a mixed book of Local Government and Healthcare accounts in the Midlands and North East region. The aim for any ICS Account Manager is to spend an equal amount of time across both verticals and develop a strong understanding of their individual and collective strategies. You will be expected to manage a book of accounts and with time, focus on trading across multiple business lines with fewer accounts, which will deliver the required returns. Initially, we will expect lots of effort and activity to build relationships and meet with all your accounts, which will be a mix of cold and some trading customers.
As ICS Account Manager, you'll be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of business within your accounts
- Meeting and building relationships with your accounts and Integrated Care Boards (ICB)
- Accurately forecasting deals, including bi-weekly pipeline reviews with management
- Working strategically with vendors to uncover opportunities
- Proactively building and sharing knowledge about Local Gov and Healthcare verticals
We'd love you to have
- Experience working within an Enterprise Public Sector client-management environment
- A strong desire to learn more about Local Gov and Healthcare verticals and ICS/ICB
- An interest in understanding Public Sector processes, including frameworks, within a sales role
- Experience working with vendors, partners, and internal departments to maximise opportunities within accounts
