- Provide technical consultancy services across the SSEN Transmission business and have a willingness to contribute in meetings and other technical forums to share your expert knowledge.

What do I need?

- A degree in Telecommunications Engineering or other relevant engineering discipline, although equivalent level experience will be considered.

- Demonstrable experience in design, testing and specification of telecommunication equipment including fibre and radio based technologies and equipment. Knowledge of fibre installation, MPLS and SDH/PDH is crucial. Be comfortable to technically assess issues and critically assess a range of proposed technical solutions.

- Knowledge and understanding of a range of telecommunication related International Standards. Knowledge of network timing dissemination and associated clock sources would be an asset.
