About the Role

Base Location: Glasgow

Salary: £45,400 - £55,000 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time or Part Time | Flexible First options available

As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the procurement and commercial management, and the administration of contracts for the operation and maintenance of Greater Gabbard Offshore Windfarm, to ensure successful delivery in accordance with all internal policies and procedures such as Procurement Manual, Commercial Manual and LCP Governance Framework Manual. You will support the delivery of departmental KPI' and objectives such as savings in total cost of ownership, value engineering and safety performance.

As a Contracts Manager you will:

- Lead and manage the procurement of essential works scopes, procurement at lowest cost of ownership and in accordance with the principals of efficiency and best value. Tis includes covering all commercial, business and legal project risks in contracts and negotiation terms and conditions within your own area of responsibility, ensuring ongoing value for money throughout the lifetime of the contract.

- Manage all post-contract commercial matter, including negotiating/agreeing compensation events, cost reporting and managing final accounts. Ensuring that the core principles of the Commercial Manual are being implemented.

- Deliver all contracts within your own area of responsibility, including the management of defects, disputes and claims.

- Understand and support the development of relationships with main suppliers/contractors and internal stakeholders.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Experience in post contract management.

- Experience of drafting and interpreting commercial contracts. Working knowledge of the common conditions of contract such as NEC.

- Experience in supporting strategic contracts and stakeholder management.

- Experience in cost and budget management, including cost reporting, contract practice and contract administration, estimating and quantification.

- Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent. MRICS or MCIPS is desirable, but not essential.
