Base Location: Dublin or Belfast

Salary: €64,000 - €96,000 (ROI) or £41,400 - £62,000 (NI) + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: 12 - 18 Month Fixed Term Contract | Full Time | Flexible First options available

What is the Role?

We’re looking for a Lead Pricing Analyst (B2B) to join our Commercial team within SSE Airtricity. The team recommends pricing structures for both Domestic and Business customers, forecasts expected profitability from each customer and product segment, and ensures the billed rates to our customers are accurate. In this role you will:

- help ensure that the electricity supply contracts that we provide to our customers across Ireland deliver value to both our customers and SSE Airtricity

- support with pricing recommendations on new and existing products, to our range of business customers, from your local coffee shop to chains of supermarkets to large data centres

- ensure that the products we offer are appropriately managed, with the correct volume of energy purchased from the wholesale markets and understand how differences in customer consumption may impact profitability

- support the team to align day to day priorities, provide guidance on process improvement, give context on market trends and upskill in the use of relevant business applications (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint etc)

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- experience in the energy industry, with a background in hedging, pricing, or energy risk management

- an in depth understanding of the energy sales industry

- excellent analytical, written and numerical skills with demonstrable experience working with complex data sets and modelling

- strong commercial acumen with a solid understanding of financial principals, terms and concepts

- the ability to negotiate and justify the appropriate response to complex problems / issues and the communication skills to articulate complex issues and actions to resolve at director level
