About the Role

Base Location: Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen, Reading, Belfast or Dublin.

Salary: £53,100 - £79,700 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full time | Hybrid working and Flexible First options available

As Technical Due Diligence Manager, you’ll assess opportunities for bids, mergers and acquisitions which will bolster our onshore portfolio across Europe. Join us on our journey to net zero and help us power change.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Conducting due diligence assessments related to wind, solar, battery and hydro opportunities.

- Leading project teams of technical experts during non-binding offer and binding-offer stages.

- Delivering comprehensive due diligence reports capturing key findings, issues, risks, and recommendations.

- Creating investment decision recommendations and providing project development and technical inputs for the financial modelling.

- Contributing to framework processes and the continuous improvement of templates, tools and documents.

What do I need?

We would love you to have:

- Large capital project experience in a senior business development, bid, or project management role.

- Experience leading due diligence for energy investment projects in a developer or consultancy environment.

- Understanding of the factors influencing investments such as development decisions, technology selection, energy yield, grid, costs, timing, consenting, engineering, supply chain, financial measures, and investment case economics.

- Experience managing teams in a matrix environment.

- An analytical and commercially astute approach to work, with the ability to distil complex data into concise information and recommendations.
