Base Location: Belfast

Salary: £23,000 - £30,000 + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

What is the Role?

Our Operations, Compliance and Data Protection Specialist will be a key operational requirement within SSE Airtricity. In this role you will:

- complete audits, dip tests and checks within the department in line with business plans

- work alongside the business assurance team to target future change proactively by utilising key data reporting

- be the central resource for contract management, setting up new suppliers, raising payment requests, receipting payment requests, and investigating third party payment issues

- ensure GDPR is embedded into business culture, enhancing communication and knowledge across the teams

- act as a data protection ambassador and actively manage any GDPR and SARS requests

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- knowledge of the Northern Ireland retail energy markets and an understanding of the requirements associated with working in a regulated utility industry

- functional experience within a business operations environment, with working knowledge of GDPR and key data protection principles, as well as compliance audit expertise

- excellent project management, leadership, communication, and presentation skills

- strong analytical and interpersonal skills

- an understanding of key change management and change governance principles
