Salary: £31,339 - £35,892 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Linesperson to join our team based in the South of England.
Even if you live outside of this area, we can provide you with accommodation for the working week.
You'll be part of a great team carrying out various overhead line inspections and maintenance.
The role will involve working outdoors in all weather conditions, making sure our customers are never without power.
About the Department
Operations are responsible for keeping the lights on; we are at the front line on the network. If we find a fault, it is our responsibility to respond to the fault and dispatch our skilled teams to fix it as quickly as possible.
What is the Role?
In this role, you'll mainly work as part of a team carrying out various overhead line inspections and maintenance whilst also carrying out work on construction projects on the 33kV & 132kV overhead line network.
- You'll be responsible for the safety of yourself and colleagues, and act as an ambassador for a strong safety culture in everything you do.
- The role can be demanding and you'll be required to respond quickly to emergency situations; we want to provide the best possible service to our customers in their time of need.
What do I need?
To ensure you get the most from your role, it would be beneficial if you have the following:
- Previous experience and knowledge of working at heights.
- Previous examples and knowledge of working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Previous experience and knowledge of 33kV & 132kV overhead line tower work.
- A relevant qualification, SSE or equivalent DNO Operational Authorisations would be advantageous (but not essential as training for this can be provided), or Tower Rescue experience would be a great advantage too.
- You will need a full UK driving license for the position.
