About the role
We are looking for a Reward Specialist, Compensation to join our Reward and Recognition team.
You'll play an important part in influencing our pay strategy, ensuring consistent and market aligned benchmarking and supporting education in reward elements for our people team and people managers.
You'll need to have experience of working in a Reward role with a strong emphasis on pay and ideally have knowledge in relation to equity and recognition too.
This is an exciting time in the reward space for UW with plenty of opportunity to make a difference for our employees.
What you'll do
- Conduct job evaluation and analysis to determine employee compensation packages.
- Utilise market data and industry benchmarks to ensure our compensation packages remain competitive and aligned to market trends.
- Analyse salary data and present insights, trends and recommended actions to stakeholders ensuring alignment to our Reward philosophy and budget considerations.
- Manage and administer our incentive programmes.
- Manage our annual compensation cycles to ensuring a seamless and timely process.
- Responsibility for pay reporting such as Gender Pay Gap, Equal Pay Audits and end of year reporting.
- Collaborate with our finance partners on the education and transaction of employee share schemes.
- Design, Implement and manage employee recognition programmes that align with our culture and celebrate outstanding performance and achievements.
- Develop a variety of recognition strategies to support our company success.
About you
- Proven experience in employee compensation principles, application and development.
- Familiarity with job evaluation methods and tools.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders
