A bit about your role
The Field Operations Team handles customer service, service activation, network assurance, maintenance, modernization, and quality audits across all technologies. Field Engineers play a crucial role in ensuring network quality, making technical decisions, and mentoring other Field technicians.
Due to the demanding project work on our active network, our Field Engineers operate on a 24/7 roster which may involve frequent night as well as participating in an on-call roster.
Manage and conduct equipment and system-level Network and Service Assurance activities in the field across all nbn technologies.
Perform work instigating changes and upgrades to nbn network platforms and components. This may involve individual cases or program-related activities.
Provide technical leadership and capability in enhancing network design and support processes.
A bit about you
You would come from a technical field background, ideally with strong network assurance experience in one or more nbn technologies. Having outside plant build experience across Fibre, HFC or Copper network builds would be beneficial.
You will be a natural problem solver with a methodological approach and have an aptitude to learn quickly. Your ability to be flexible, adaptable and be able to cope with conflicting priorities will also see you succeed in this role. Given the nature of this role you will be a highly organised team player, with the ability to adapt to a changing and dynamic work environment.
