The individual appointed for this role will work across tactical and strategic projects as directed by the SEM Team Leader, ranging from high impact, strategic focuses, to business-as-usual activity. This role will focus primarily around managing projects, creating and delivering enablement content and working with key stakeholders to deliver impactful campaigns to drive revenue. In this role, you will be aligned to one of Softcat's 5 tech towers to represent the SEM Team in the tower stakeholder group and be accountable for the enablement within that tower.
As a sales enablement executive you'll be responsible for:
Collaborate – Act as a bi-directional communicator between Sales, Marketing and Services
- Enablement – Support the Sales Enablement Managers and wider stakeholders in the build, planning and delivery of GotoMarket and tactical Sales campaigns.
- Marketing – To work collaboratively with Marketing & Sales GTM teams to ensure our Sales led messaging reflects our external GotoMarket content.
- Content creation – Adapt and create usable resources that support Sales in articulating Softcat's message out to customers.
- Feedback – To collate and share feedback and metrics around enablement – e.g. sentiment scores, business line growth, Sales behaviours.
- Platforms – Support in the usability and content management of Sales Enablement platform
- Learning and development – To be a subject matter expert on Softcat's solutions business and its services. Understand and use different learning practices to support and enable our Sales teams
Grow - To assist in the success of the financial performance of Sales
- Promote – Work with Sales stakeholders and Sales GTM teams to drive both the combined and individual success of our technology portfolio.
- Assist - To guide and assist our Sales teams, ensuring they have the appropriate understanding and knowledge base of our GotoMarket's in line with their customer base.
- Customers – To support the redevelopment and roll-out of a customer facing Discovery & Engagement workshop that helps both the customer and Sales identify key challenges where Softcat could demonstrate value
- Data – Accurately collate and report on data from your projects to demonstrate impact and ROI. Work with the Sales Enablement Managers to utilise data to identify new project opportunities
- Tactical – Work with Sales Priority Owners, Services and Marketing to deliver sales campaigns.
- Strategic Projects – To support Sales and Services by continually improving the experience and communication between each area.
We'd love you to have
- Demonstrable experience in previous Sales roles
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with different personalities across the business.
- Experience with project management-based tasks.
- Demonstrable experience of delivering training and enablement through varied mediums.
- Able to multi-task, set own deadlines, prioritise, and deliver against them.
- Versatility and the ability to manage a variety of project types.
- Alacrity and a drive to deliver exceptional results
- A team player with a shared focus of building and evolving the team's identity.
