About Atlassian
We’re a team of 5000+ Atlassians supporting an international group of 170,000+ customers. We build tools like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Trello to help teams across the world become more nimble, creative, and aligned.
How Atlassian supports gender diversity:
- We follow industry best practices in regards to pay equity, including yearly audits to ensure we continue to maintain pay parity on the basis of gender. In addition, all full-time employees are eligible for our equity programs, with our top performers eligible for additional equity-based compensation.
- We have strong support for parents, including 26 weeks of parental leave for primary caregivers and breastfeeding facilities in each of our offices. We also allow Atlassian’s flexible onboarding as they return from leave, including partial schedules if desired.

Meet the team
Zoe has two first names and two birthdays but only one set of these is legal. This is not because she is a spy, but a result of her Afghan refugee experience. She has over a decade of experience working in technology and loves to find commonalities between creative writing and product management. Zoe works as Head of Product for Experience Platform at Atlassian and sits on the board of Australia for UNHCR. Her first novel Pomegranate and Fig is expected for publication in May 2022 with Hachette.
Emily is a Principal Recruiter for Atlassian, where she is given the freedom to combine her passion for people and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Her speciality focus is in leadership hiring for Product Management and Design. Previous to Atlassian, Emily worked for the Commonwealth Bank as a senior talent partner, focusing on diversity and women in leadership. When not at work, you can find her trying to complete her first fiction novel, driving change for women’s equality and her mini start-up.
